Spirit of the Game

From the 11th Edition Rules of Ultimate Frisbee, this principle applies to every sport in which Kon Disch competes:

Spirit of the Game: Ultimate relies upon a spirit of sportsmanship that places the responsibility for fair play on the player. Highly competitive play is encouraged, but never at the expense of mutual respect among competitors, adherence to the agreed upon rules, or the basic joy of play. Protection of these vital elements serves to eliminate unsportsmanlike conduct from the Ultimate field. Such actions as taunting opposing players, dangerous aggression, belligerent intimidation, intentional infractions, or other win-at-all-costs behavior are contrary to the spirit of the game and must be avoided by all players.

Mission Statement:

Kon Disch will be the BEST, most COMPETITIVE, most FEARSOME conditioning group at the Boarding School and will gladly face any other group in hand-to-hand combat or any other test of physical endurance and/or skill!

Don't mess with Kon Disch.
And remember, "A winner never quits, and a quitter never wins."

who dem? who dem? who dem think they beat up kon disch?



here's a bit what the ole GW would look like with an afro--and the enemy's costume. (it's fletch, fellas, one of the greatest funniest characters ever on film).

once again, back is the incredible, the rhyme animal, and it begins with D! (public enemy #1!)

first annual Large White Shadow invitational proves a SMASHING SUCCESS. four teams. winners and losers play. then winners play again. 20 minutes of hard-nosed full court madness.

i don't know HOW these teams got picked, but wildman, beeeees, master of the universe, the Great White, diabolical dan, and Gimme Gimme Gibbsy all wind up on the same team.

they make quick work of Salvatious and company while Quin the Esquimo and the twin towers of KMitch and Shoes battle into double overtime. the esquimo and shoes teams probably were done after that; they certainly had little left over for the Great White Shadow's crew.

one blow-out after another for the champs. takin punks out with a flurry of buckshot. boom boom boom, they was gunnin. all they could see was punks runnin and yellin and fallin and pushin and screamin and cussin! (that's ice cube, aight?)

best defensive play of the game? probly when Salvatious blocked the GW like he's playin beach volleyball.

GW has to take play of the game. both arms pinned by one of the dirty tricksters on the esquimo's team, he flips the ball straight up in the air. impossible for it to go in, but somehow it curves, and bounces in like richard hamilton's shot to win the championship for uconn back in the day (one of the SICKEST shots you'll ever see--youtube it baby).

MVP is a tie and goes to nobody in kon disch. sorry fellas. Master of the Universe and Beees for their runnin and gunnin dominance.

Kon Disch is now officially on break until after Headmasters. See you again in the balmy spring weather of February!!!
